INTRODUCING: THE HAlf-Day in-person workshop for professionals who want to conquer their FEAR OF public speaking
Learn the practical tools I’ve taught to thousands over the past 20 years:
What to do when your mind goes blank (and how to keep it from going blank in the first place)
How to quiet your negative self-talk and what to say to yourself instead
How to break free of scripts and sound natural while secretly being well-prepared.
The most important first step you need to take every time you’re preparing a presentation
How to connect with your audience and make them care about what you’re saying
How to control your body when your hands are shaking and your heart is racing
How to transform your public speaking mindset with two simple words you already know
How to reduce your nerves by making eye contact with your audience in an unexpected way
Here’s the secret: Your anxiety may never fully go away.
But it also doesn’t have to ruin your life.
You can manage your fear, befriend your anxious thoughts, and learn to live by my favorite motto:
Feel the fear and do it anyway.
You’ll graduate from this workshop with a personalized anxiety management plan and a communication toolbox jam-packed with practical, actionable tools you can use immediately to calm and focus yourself, connect with your audience, share ideas in meetings and 1:1s, and get buy-in from colleagues and business partners.
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
I’m executive public speaking coach Jennifer Hennings. I help people break through their fear of public speaking and speak up with confidence—especially when the pressure’s on.
Executives and companies ranging from startups to the likes of Google and Salesforce bring me in when they have high-stakes presentations to prepare for and polish.
What makes my approach unique is I don’t have a background in acting or theater. I don’t naturally crave the spotlight—in fact, I’m an introvert who used to throw up before speaking and teaching.
Just like you, I needed to get a handle on my public speaking fear so I could communicate confidently and create exciting opportunities in my career.
Who this WORKSHOP is for:
Introverted professionals with an upcoming presentation or important meeting they want to deliver with confidence and ease.
Newly promoted leaders who need to be more confident and comfortable speaking to larger groups—to get their teams aligned and excited.
Aspiring leaders whose public speaking skills are holding them back from sharing a compelling vision with groups and stakeholders.
Anyone wanting to get more involved in their community or organization by being able to speak in front of groups without letting their fear of public speaking take over.
“I decided to overcome my fear of public speaking. I know this is a common fear but it has held me back and I finally decided to find help. Jennifer and I had three sessions and I feel like I am a different person with more confidence. Presentations are still not something I love to do, but I definitely do not avoid it anymore. I would definitely recommend Jennifer to anyone who needs public speaking coaching or general coaching. She is amazing!”
— Vaneeta V., CFO, Venture Fund

You MIGHT BE WONDERING…
Do I need to have a presentation coming up?
No! If you are preparing for a talk, the workshop will give you valuable strategies to get ready. And if you’ve been too nervous to present, you’ll get the tools you need to say yes to speaking opportunities in the future.
I’m feeling pretty nervous. Do I have to speak in front of the whole group?
No, not unless you sign up for a VIP ticket. All participants will have two chances to practice presenting to a partner.
Do I need to prepare anything in advance?
Nope, just show up! I’ll coach you through it one step at a time.
Wait, am I really getting videotaped?!
Yes, but don’t worry. It’s on your own device, you own the video, and you’re the only one who has to watch it.
What do I need to bring?
You’ll need a fully-charged smartphone, tablet, or other video recording device. It’s also ideal to have headphones for your device, as well as an open, curious mindset.
What’s the refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to the workshop. To request a refund, please email hello@jenniferhennings.com.
If I’m unable to attend, can I transfer my registration to someone else?
If you are unable to attend, you're welcome to transfer your registration to another person by emailing hello@jenniferhennings.com at least 24 hours before the workshop.
Will there be food?
Of course! There will be lots of tasty snacks and drinks to keep you energized throughout the morning.
Where will the workshop be held? Where should I park?
The workshop will be held in downtown San Mateo and there is plenty of paid street parking. I recommend the 10-hour lot at 2nd and El Camino. Address and other details will be emailed to you once you register.

WHAT IF YOU COULD conquer your PUBLIC SPEAKING FEAR?
Tell me if you’re nodding your head to at least six of these statements:
Public speaking makes you want to throw up.
You say no to speaking opportunities, even the ones that would be great for your career.
You feel OK presenting to smaller groups but you get paralyzed in front of larger crowds.
You have an “out of body” experience when you present, blanking out with no memory of what you said.
You delegate important presentations and client meetings to other members of your team.
You avoid making eye contact with your boss when she asks for volunteers to speak at a conference.
You memorize a script and practice obsessively but you still freeze up and freak out when you get onstage.
You know your stuff but your mind still goes blank when someone asks you a question.
You’re a subject matter expert but you get lost in the weeds and bore your audience with too many details.
You feel fine when you know your topic well but get anxious when you’re not 100% sure of your content.
You ramble on and on instead of getting to the point.
You’re tired of your public speaking fear holding you back.
